I’m a perpetual student and am always seeking to broaden my level of knowledge and understanding.
Which brings me to one of the things I’d like you to know most about me, this website, and my work. What follows is a version of a the standard disclaimer I like to offer to the audience at the beginning of every public speaking engagement I give.
Here’s a little pie chart to illustrate the point graphically.
My understanding is always evolving and is, at best, incomplete. Although I am a keen student of health and the human condition, the truth is that the level of my knowledge is hugely outweighed by the degree of my ignorance.
I’m not an expert in anything, except perhaps in being a fallible human. Rather I’m an explorer, an investigator and a seeker of truth who feels compelled to share and communicate my journey of learning and discover with others.
I feel it’s important to acknowledge and emphasize that what I know, understand and am aware of today is different than what I knew, understood and was aware of yesterday, a week ago, a month ago, a year ago and many years ago. And my knowledge, understanding and awareness today are different than they will be in time going forward.
My purpose in creating this website is to share my best level of understanding thus far. Therefore what is offered here are my present yet ever evolving perspectives, opinions, insights and conclusions. These are shared simply for your consideration in the hopes that they may be of value to you along the way as you seek out and research, explore, and coalesce your own perspectives, opinions, insights and conclusions.
Although I share passionately and with conviction what I wholeheartedly feel to be valid information, I invite you to take it all with a grain of salt, and to not necessarily take my word for anything I say. By the same token, nor would I suggest that you take anyone else’s word for anything they say either for that matter.
I submit that there’s entirely too much misinformation, disinformation, propaganda and even outright lies being disseminated out there these days for us to take anything at face value, and that if we are to ascertain the best, most accurate and truthful information possible, it’s important for us to be conscious, conscientious, and diligent about sifting, sorting through and filtering all the data that comes our way. It’s also important for us to conduct our own investigations, to dig through information thoroughly and to seek out the truth for ourselves, while tapping into our own deeper levels of wisdom and discernment so we may better inform ourselves and form our own perspectives, opinions, insights and conclusions.
Here are a few suggestions for doing so:
Our bodies are imbued with a profoundly intelligent, natural healing wisdom – a capacity which is actuated by nourishing our bodies deeply and being proactive about cleansing and detoxification of our bodies and spaces, and purification of our energetic fields and of our lives, thereby exponentially strengthening our ability to regain and maintain vibrant health.
